Suture 5/0 18" Chromic Gut Ps-3 16 Mm is a natural absorbable suture manufactured from purified collagen derived from the serosal layer of bovine intestine or submucosa of sheep intestine. It is treated with a chromic salt solution to delay absorption and extend tensile strength retention, making it ideal for internal soft tissue approximation where moderate-duration wound support is required.

Each strand undergoes precision polishing to achieve a uniform diameter, allowing for smooth tissue passage and consistent knot performance. The surface texture minimizes tissue trauma and reduces drag, promoting clean wound closure. These qualities make it suitable for use in ophthalmic, gynecological, and general soft tissue procedures.

The suture is equipped with a PS-3 reverse cutting needle measuring 16 mm. Its non-reflective finish enhances visibility under operating room lighting.
